CHURCHWARDEN’S WAFFLE
We thought summer had come with that lovely warm sunshine – but the British weather keeps us guessing! At least the clocks have sprung forward to BST – did you remember? You’ve probably noticed that John Hodges is building a substantial arch in our garden – the winds will have a tough job uprooting that one! Palm Sunday is on 5th, marking the start of Holy week leading up to Easter. If you’ve ordered Lilies, can you let Louise have the money a.s.a.p. please, if you haven’t yet paid her.
Thank you, Fathers John and Steven, for the Lent Groups and Bible Studies in March. Thank you also to the happy band who came to clean church on 21st March. We couldn’t do without our stalwart volunteers! There will be Bingo Night on 25th April – a chance to enjoy a social occasion, and hopefully raise some money! And – you English out there – don’t forget to wear your rose or wave the flag on St George’s Day, 23rd April!
